How to get to BCSC

From Spangdahlem AB      From Bitburg Housing

Map of RP/Eifel region

Bitburg CSC is located about 17 kilometers (11 miles) from Spangdahlem Air Base and about 30 minutes from the western border of Germany. Both Bitburg and Spangdahlem act as one community and are often referred to as "Team Eifel". Most of the former Bitburg Air Base has been returned to the German government. A portion of it is still used by the USAF for military housing, a hospital, a BX, a commissary, schools, and various other community structures. Spangdahlem Air Base also has it’s own separate military housing, hospital, BX, commissary, schools, etc.  (Ramstein AB is included on this map for a reference point.)

Directions to the Church from Bitburg Main Gate (traffic circle)

Here are directions to our church, beginning at the “traffic circle” which is at the front gate of Bitburg Housing.
  1. At the Bitburg housing traffic circle, drive towards McDonalds.
  2. Take the first right (at the white tower).
  3. Veer left in front of the old Bitburg main gate.
  4. Continue towards the old flugplatz (you will pass a huge BMW dealer).
  5. Once you enter the flugplatz, take the first right; the road zig-zags around a couple of buildings.
  6. Park in the large parking lot on the left (before the road T's).
  7. The church is located on the first floor in a white, dorm-like building with a sign that reads “Church of God.”
  8. The Sanctuary is on the first floor, on right side of building. To find the Fellowship Hall, look for mailboxes in the center of the building (outside) and go through those double doors, up the stairs, and to third floor on the LEFT.

Directions to the church from Spangdahlem Air Base
There are two main ways of getting to BCSC from Spangdahlem, via A-60 & B-51 or via L-46 & B-50.  Both routes take about the same amount of time; however, the L-46/B-50 route is a shorter distance.

Here are the directions utilizing the A-60/B-51 route:
  1. Take the first right out of the traffic circle of Spangdahlem's main gate.
  2. Cross over A-60 and turn left to go westbound on A-60.
  3. Get off at the third exit (Exit 6), "Bitburg/Staffelstein".  Take the SECOND off ramp, marked "Bitburg".
  4. You will now be on B-51 heading south to Bitburg.
  5. See the directions using B-51 for the rest of the route.
Here are the directions utilizing the L-46/B-50 route:
  1. Take the third right out of the traffic circle of Spangdahlem's main gate.
  2. Proceed through the next traffic circle (by the secondary gate) and continue driving parallel to the base.
  3. At the next traffic circle, take the first right onto B-50.
  4. Remain on B-50 (priority road) until you come into Bitburg in front of the Housing gate.
  5. Take the third exit out of the traffic circle, towards McDonald's.

Directions to the Church from B-51

Here are directions to our church from B-51.
  1. Take B-51 south from A-60 (toward Bitburg/Trier).
  2. Take the very last exit into Bitburg (FLUGPLATZ). It is southernmost entrance into Bitburg and one exit PAST the most common exit for Bitburg housing.
  3. Take a left off the exit (cross over the B-51). Follow signs to Eifel Stern Hotel. Take a left onto Charles Lindbergh-Allee.
  4. Pass the Eifel Stern Hotel on your right. Drive until the road comes to a "T".
  5. Take a right on Johannes-Kepler Strasse and then about 30 feet later take a left. You'll see a huge parking lot on your right. We are located directly across the street from the parking lot.
  6. The Sanctuary is on the first floor, on right side of building. To find the Fellowship Hall, look for mailboxes in the center of the building (outside) and go through those double doors, up the stairs, and to third floor on the LEFT.
